Tale Studio

Hailing from Byron Bay, Tale Studio is a creative partnership between artists Sabastian Fardell and Daniel Stevenson. Tale offers a distinctive motion practice - a full-service studio where the pair co-direct, capture, and craft narratives from concept through to post-production. Guided by the sensory and corporeal experience of the world, their work explores the dialogue between human sensory perception and natural phenomena. 

Tale Studio constructs visual worlds that feel tactile, atmospheric, emotionally constructed, with an edge of romanticism. Their films often meditate on the elemental — light, texture, movement — translating these into immersive stories. Innately collaborative, Tale brings new possibilities to life by infusing the identity and narrative of each brand, artist, and collaborator into their visual signature.
