Daniel Knott’s journey in film began in the shadows of the Blue Mountains, where the vast textures of the Sydney outskirts shaped his cinematic sensibility. Today, he brings that same sense of atmosphere to every project, operating with a unique “total-ownership" workflow in which he directs, shoots, and edits all of his work. This holistic approach ensures a singular, uncompromising eye on the project from the first frame captured to the final cut. The result is work that is as technically precise as it is emotionally resonant; a cohesive visual language that feels intentional, seamless, and distinctly his own.
